2026 Evaluations Schedule
Hello Indus Ringette Members!
Please see the attached IRA/SMRA evaluation schedule for the 2026/2027 season. Please take note of your child's age group times to ensure you show up for all relevant UAA's, Skills, and Games. These times are subject to change as we proceed through the evaluation process.
Evaluation Process
For divisions that are split into groups (U12 and U16), families will receive an email in the days leading up to evaluations confirming their athlete’s assigned group. The remaining divisions (U10, U14, U19) are expected to show up for all ice times listed.
As part of Ringette Alberta’s new centralized tournament application process, tournament applications must be submitted by September 17. To allow sufficient time for team formation and pre-tournament planning, evaluations must be held over the September long weekend.
All athletes are guaranteed three evaluation ice times. Following the third ice time, some athletes may be released to allow evaluators to focus on the remaining participants and complete a thorough assessment process.
Evaluation Volunteers
Volunteers are required to run a successful evaluation, and these hours will count towards your required volunteer hours for the 2026/2027 season.
For U12-U19 ice times, please see the link below to sign up: SMRA/IRA U12-U19 Volunteer. Please ensure you are showing up 15 minutes prior to the actual ice time in order to be prepared.
For U10, on-ice volunteers and evaluators will be coordinated directly with our Evaluations coordinator. Please reach out to Adrian if you would like to volunteer at: evaluations@indusringette.ca.
